AURCMP Workshop

Dear CMIC Members,

As you have known, the registration of Chinese medicine is going to formally start from 1/7/2012. From the registration standards that have been recently released by CMBA, you may find some requirements that are unfair or unrealistic, for example, requirement of IETLS test and 10 core subjects for Chinese Herbal Medicine. Most Chinese Medicine Associations in Australia have been reacting to these requirements and taking further actions to protect our rights. CMIC has also done a lot of communications and negotiations with CMBA regarding standards and requirements on Chinese Herbal Dispensers in particular. But meanwhile, we understand that we need to follow the registration procedures to prepare for registration as early as possible.

CMBA has uploaded the revised formal registration forms onto its website last week. Chinese Medicine Practitioners are encouraged to submit the forms by the end of March, 2012.

In order to help those who have difficulties in filling the English forms, our partner Australian Union of Registered Chinese Medicine (AURCMP jointly formed by ATCMA and CMASA) will hold a workshop on explaining the form content and instructing people how to fill in the forms. This workshop will be delivered in Mandarin/Cantonese.

If you are interested, please call AURCMP Secretariat Office on 02-9267 0024 or email to aurcmp@gmail.com for reservation.
